The Spring Classic for Girls is a CIF sanctioned, Girls Varsity soccer tournament. This tournament will provide you the opportunity to compete against teams from all over Northern California. Friday night games under the lights will bring an added element of excitement to the event.
FORMAT
Each team will play a minimum of three games. There will be Championship and Consolation games. Each team will play no more than two games per day with a minimum of 1 ½ hours rest in between games.
AWARDS
Team trophies will be presented to the Varsity Champions and 2nd place teams. Individual player medals will be presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams as well.
ENTRY FEE
The entry fee for this tournament is $400 per team, payable to Foothill High School Athletics. The check for $400 ($750 for both Varsity and Junior Varsity) along with the tournament application must be received no later than January 31, 2012. The Players Showcase gives players who want to play at the collegiate level the opportunity to the showcase their talents. We are an exclusive event where NAIA coaches manage teams and expose players to the
collegiate level of technical and tactical training.
Every team gets the experience to train, practice and play in competitive games with no less than 6 different NAIA coaches. Coaches are encouraged to shadow their teams and interact to improve their coaching acumen.
The Players Showcase is a sanctioned US Club event. This is a Girls and Boys event in the U16 & U19 age divisions. Out of state teams are encouraged to attend.

16 teams from Northern California will face off against 16 teams from Oregon and Nevada in this "Battle of the Border". Each team will play three games versus teams from the opposite state(s). The State that accumulates the most points through wins and ties will be the Champion of this annual event. .gif)
