"The Soccer Park will encourage the positive development of our youth. Each player will learn the rules and drill the skills. As in life, players must work together building a team and a community."
Ken Murray, City of Redding Mayor
A jewel in the crown of attractions in Redding! That's what some are calling the new soccer complex, we just call it the Redding Soccer Park. A one-of-a-kind, "State-of-the-Sport" soccer facility that boasts four, all-weather, synthetic-turf NCAA regulation sized, lighted fields. The Park is fully landscaped with over a half mile of concrete walkways, gated entry and ample parking for the largest events.
But the amenities don't stop with the playing surfaces, this 22-acre complex was built with a full restaurant, over 2000 square feet of covered, misted seating, a play area for the siblings with slides, climbing walls and other features to keep the young ones busy while you enjoy the game. In addition to the restaurant area there's an administration building with a pro-shop for your last minute playing needs. However the major feature of the administration building is the classroom/meeting room, sized to handle up to 30 in a training environment. The meeting room gives us the opportunity to offer classroom instruction and then demonstrate that training or instruction on the adjacent fields.
For those that attend events at the Redding Soccer Park their experience will be beyond the normal "Soccer Event". You can start your morning with your favorite coffee drink (from our mobile coffee cart) and one of our signature breakfast entrees or a simple sweet roll. Then enjoy a game or two from the raised walkways around each field (or sitting under the covered seating at the concessions area). After your team's game is over, you might want to set-up an area for the team to relax on one of the many large concrete or grass areas. Your team can enjoy lunch from the on-site kitchen as we will offer the teams the option of ordering lunches ahead of time. Can you image your coach not worrying about what the players are eating or whether they'll be back in time for their next game? Have a little time before your next game? Spend it watching some MLS soccer on one of the big screen TVs under the covered seating while enjoying a Dreyers ice cream dessert.
